PDF Processing

All PDF processing operations (merging, page manipulation, etc.) are performed locally on your device. Your files never leave your device for these operations, and we do not have access to your documents.

PDF Summary Feature

The PDF Summary feature is the only functionality that involves sending data outside your device:

• When you use the PDF Summary feature, the content of your PDF is sent to OpenAI's API for processing.
• This transmission is necessary to generate the summary using OpenAI's language models.
• We do not retain any copies of the data sent to OpenAI.
• Please note that OpenAI has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data sent to their API.

Third-Party Services

Except for the OpenAI API used for the PDF Summary feature, WizPDF does not utilize any third-party services that would have access to your data.

Data Security

Although we don't store your data, we take reasonable measures to ensure the security of any data in transit, such as when content is sent to OpenAI for summarization. These measures include using secure HTTPS connections.

Children's Privacy

WizPDF is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
